SES recently hosted its inaugural TPAC Symposium and it was a major success! Established in December 2015, TPAC (TIMS Product Advisory Council) is a client user feedback group that was assembled specifically to review and evaluate current and future TIMS features. TPAC members were presented with the opportunity to partake in several conference calls to give constructive feedback and directly voice their opinions. Although the calls were effective when addressing certain ideas, SES desired to tackle the more intricate concepts with a face-to-face meeting which nearly a dozen members made the gracious investment to attend. Located in SES’ office in Southern California, the two day conference brought together SES & TPAC members to collaborate closely on complex and significant innovations such as the overall redesign of TIMS and an improved integration of 360 Value. The feedback provided was invaluable to SES as TPAC members gave vital insight as to how we could propel TIMS to be even further refined to best fit our customer’s needs. But it wasn’t all business! TPAC members partook in activities such as the Marshmallow Challenge, a team building exercise with the goal to build the tallest standing structure made out of spaghetti, making sure to add a marshmallow on top without collapsing the structure. Other than exercising our member’s arts and crafts skills, the purpose of these activities was to demonstrate the pillars that TIMS is built upon – Requirements, Innovation, & Design. With its inaugural TPAC Symposium in the history books, SES is now taking all feedback back to the drawing board and putting it to good use. Given the success of Symposium, we anxiously look forward to planning the next conference!
